An always popular, or at least relevant topic these days are Zombies. We're up to our necks with zombie movies, games, comics and TV show(s...), so It's no wonder people flock to the genre, and perhaps wonder if a Zombie Apocalypse could happen?Of course even then, they might fail...Still, I'm not afraid to admit I have a plan in case of a zombie apocalypse. I also really love the commercialization of the whole topic. United Cutlery for example, has a whole line of real weapons designed to fight through a zombie apocalypse: www.unitedcutlery.com/Search.aspx?search=apocalypseKatanas, bowie knives, swords, axes you name it. Personally, I'd go for the spear. There's also lots of food and drinks: www.livingwithbloodlust.com/zombie/zj.htmlMy wife got me a pack of that stuff a year or two ago, and It's friggin' delicious. Here's the company's full line, including candy and drinks, and not just for zombies: shop.harcoslabs.com/zombies/Such good fun.

I think most horror fans have a zombie survival plan. Mine involves lost of weeping and flailing my arms in the air, then trying to make it to a large nearby convenience store which has a security gate. There would be enough food to last awhile, some magazines to read, and a back room you can escape to when you get tired of the zombies staring at you through the sure to be broken windows.
Zombies are one of my favourite/most dreaded horror menaces, due to the Biblical prophecy that in the final days the dead shall rise from the grave.

Just wanted to share this hilarious Oatmeal comic on the subject: theoatmeal.com/comics/zombie_howThat is some awesome imagery. In my mind, it also depends on the type of Zombie we'd get, hypothetically though. The Dawn of the Dead/Left 4 Dead types, who are quite fast and strong. Or the Night of the Living Dead/Voodoo types who are slow, shambling corpses. Either one is scary, but if we'd get the latter, we'd all be pretty much alright in the end.
