What is your favourite way to partake of horror? Movies? Books? Swapping tales with friends? Something else?
Myself, I've always enjoyed a good creepy film. I don't know, there is just something about the medium that grabs me. Maybe it is the soundtrack combined with the visual experience, combined with the fact that it isn't a long term commitment. Got a couple of hours to kill? Netflix and DVDs are always waiting for you.
However, a chilling book or short story runs a close second, and in some cases, I find more enjoyable. You get a more detailed experience, and don't have the drawback of bad acting that many horror movies inflict on you.

Gaming is my personal favorite door to a more horrifying world. Books and movies are perhaps better ways to tell a linear narrative, but games allow you a more active part in the stories, which i feel adds to the level of horror.
But I find enjoyment in all the mediums, and I find each has their own values.

Movies and Music.
A Good Example would be the Song Kim and the song Catch me if you can.
