Here's a couple of small things I've experienced.
Years ago a friend and I were spending an afternoon playing Magic: The Gathering. I finished a game with one deck, and put it to the side. A minute later, my friend decided he wanted to play against that deck again. I reached for it... and it wasn't there. After a couple of minutes of searching, I found it under a pile of other decks.
Yesterday I was playing D&D (Pathfinder) at thorakor's home. I had my dice, rulebook, character sheet, pencil and eraser in front of me. At one point I needed to erase something on my sheet, but the eraser wasn't there. I searched my pockets, my jacket pockets, my tote bag, in the rule book, under the character sheet... nothing. I went through my pockets again and still didn't find it. A friend (the same friend I had been playing Magic against, actually) searched his tote bag in case he had picked it up, and didn't find it. I ended up using the grody eraser on my pencil, which left streaks on the character sheet.
Today when I was transferring my cards and money to another pair of pants, the eraser was in the left pocket.

Awesome, what colors do you play?
On topic; Sounds like at least one of your games is haunted. No idea how to exorcise tabletops though, but for fun, you could try experimenting with them.

I haven't played in years, but I most enjoyed blue/black decks. The best deck I recall playing was a mono-blue merfolk deck that only ran six lands, all basic islands. What about you?

All black for me, but blue has Its charms. Haven't played in a few years either though. A few summers ago I bought one of those booster displays with 36 boosters of M14 cards, built a brand new all Black deck from scratch with those.
